Our restored gold rush era home offers the finest in overnight accommodations and a real be & breakfast experience during your stay. Rooms are tastefully decorated with fine linens on king size beds, walls adorned with period wallpapers, collectible Alaskan art, and period furniture throughout. Our breakfasts are raved about by the guests, and covered by all the guide books, as a true dining experience. You can enjoy refreshments before dinner, or our bottomless cookie jar with a cup of tea in the afternoon, when guests often share the days events or photos.
The Inn is conveniently located in a historic residential neighborhood overlooking the downtown area. It is a short walk to all of Juneaus specialty shops, casual and fine dining, area attractions, and local hiking trails. Business travelers have easy access to all government office buildings, courthouse, and convention hall. Because we are so close to everything downtown, there is no need to rent a car. We are a stones throw from the State Capitol Building and as such have been proud to host several Governors and members of our Alaska Congressional delegation here at the Inn. The outside garden is the perfect place to read a book in the sun or catch a nap in a hammock.
Our landscaping contains some of the original Olds family plantings that we have preserved along with the Inn. There is also a large covered outdoor hot tub for guests use after a long day of adventures or hiking through the rain forest. The Inn has wireless internet capability and there is a computer in the parlor for guests to use. Guests favorite recipes are the dungeness crab eggs benedict and our Alaskan sourdough pancakes with thick cut smoked bacon. We also serve a special home made granola along with a variety of juices, teas and sweet treats. WE also accommodate special dietary needs, so let us know when making your reservations. We also pack breakfast bags to go for those leaving early on tours or early morning departures.

If a healthy home made breakfast is important to you when considering a place to stay, you have come to the right place!We suggest marking your wedding plans well in advance to reserve the Inn so that we may guarantee the dates you want. Our reservations are usually taken well in advance of the desired dates and especially for our summer season, June through August. Our summer weekends are generally reserved early by guests coming for vacations, reunions, graduations, and family visits, so try and plan ahead as far as possible.
