Directions

Directions to Hacienda del Desierto:

We are giving alternate routes right now because there is prolonged construction both on Valencia east of the Freeway and on Houghton Road north.

 From Tucson International Airport:  Turn right at the light onto Valencia and go a couple of miles to Alvernon Way.  Turn left and stay on that road which will eventually turn east and become Golf Links Rd. Continue east until you get to the end which is at Houghton Rd. Turn right and go to the 1st stop light which is Escalante Rd. Turn left and go 2 miles to Old Spanish Trail. Turn right 1.3 miles to Camino del Desierto. Turn right and look for a square inn sign just past the 2nd speed bump. Turn left and look for a stucco wall with a security gate. Turn right through the gate and follow the signs to the 3rd house (near the end of the road).

 From Phoenix:  Take exit 265 to S. Alvernon Way and turn left. Stay on that road which will eventually turn east and become Golf Links Rd.  From El Paso:  Take exit 279 and turn right onto Wentworth Rd. Go about a mile to Colossal Cave Rd. which veers to the right. About a ½ mile up the hill is Camino Loma Alta. Turn left and go about 6 miles to Old Spanish Trail. Turn left and go about another 6 miles to Camino Del Desierto. It is the first street on the left past The Settlement Smokehouse which you’ll see on your left. Turn left and look for a square inn sign just past the 2nd speed bump. Turn left and look for a stucco wall with a security gate. Turn right through the gate and follow the signs to the 3rd house (near the end of the road).
