The Captain Stannard House, a Connecticut Bed and Breakfast, has charmed local residents and welcomed out-of-town guests for over 100 years as the Saint Charles Inn, Olde English Tavern, Menunketesuck Inn, Hollys Barn Dance Hall, Kingsley Hall, an antique store, private residences, and currently as the Captain Stannard House Bed and Breakfast Country Inn of Westbrook CT.
A wedding celebrated at the Inn will be yours ~ lodging (all nine guest rooms) ~ Dining Room which boasts a floor to ceiling fieldstone fireplace, a baby grand piano, antique table & chairs and seating for 34 ~ Captain’s Room with chess table for two, on-going jigsaw puzzle table, individual popcorn/microwave station, guest refrigerator and television ~ our spacious Great Room with stocked mini fridge, regulation pool table, comfy overstuffed chairs & loveseats, CD player with a 200 CD selection & a beautiful fieldstone fireplace ~ Library/Office with lap top, copier, scanner & fax, television in armoire, wonderful book assortment & loveseat and chairs ~ our wonderful 80’x12’ South Porch which offers a 10” picnic table, wicker rocking chairs, teak table & chairs.
