The Veranda Historic Bed and Breakfast listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this 1906 Greek Revival mansion was originally the Holberg Hotel. The 8,000 square foot Inn with nine guest bedrooms still has its original features.
The Veranda is an ideal place for weddings and receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal luncheons, honeymoons, anniversaries, family reunions, small business conferences, seminars, retreats, and banquets. Birthdays, business conferences–the Veranda is an ideal setting for any special event. The main dining room will seat fifty with additional seating in the formal dining room for twenty-five more.
The Veranda is one block from historic Senoia’s Main Street, where you’ll find the famous Holberg Furniture Store and quaint shops. Other nearby attractions include antique shops and restaurants, historic tours (Senoia has over 113 sites on the National Historic Register), Riverwood Movie Studios, golf, Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Little White House, Calloway Gardens, and Atlanta Motor Speedway (18 miles).
From Atlanta: Go I-85 South (Hwy. 74 S, Fairburn/Peachtree City Exit). Go through Peachtree City on Hwy 74. After crossing Hwy. 54, go 3 miles to Rockaway Road. Turn right, go three miles to Senoia. Rockaway Rd. turns into Main St. At Main and Seavy St. turn left. The Veranda is one block on the left. Parking in the rear.
From Macon: Go I-75 North to the Griffin Exit on Hwy. 16 W. Go 15 miles to Griffin. Stay on Hwy. 16 through Griffin for 15 more miles until you cross Hwy. 85 in Senoia. Stay on Hwy 16 one mile and turn right at Crooks Grocery on Broad Street. Go 1/2 mile to Seavy Street (past the Senoia Coffee Shop and Holberg’s Furniture). Turn right on Seavy, go one block and the Veranda is on the left.
