Hawaiian Oasis makes it the perfect place to come home to while visiting the Big Island. Its a great launching spot no matter which way youre headed. We are 5 minutes from all Kona activities. Our wonderful island breakfast is served in the second level indoor-outdoor dining area with views overlooking the gardens and the ocean beyond. Fresh tropical fruits, delicious Kona coffee and homemade baked goods give a healthy start to your day. The three large downstairs suites (one in the adjacent building) are uniquely furnished with fine linens, Hawaiian quilts, and down pillows. Each suite is spacious with unique areas designed for lounging and relaxing. With the serenity of the gardens just outside and tropical birdsong in the air, you’ll have the perfect excuse for an afternoon nap. If youre feeling more active, how about some laps in the waterfall-fed pool, a rousing game of tennis, or a stroll through our quiet neighborhood? Directions FROM KEAHOLE-KONA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (Total about 10.5 miles): * Exit the airport access road and turn right onto Hwy 19 (South, toward Kailua- Kona town). Travel about 6 miles. *At the stoplight (just as you enter town), turn left onto Palani Road/Hwy 190. Travel uphill for about 2.8 miles. * Watch for mile marker #36 (on your left), and just after that turn left onto Hao Kuni St. Travel about 1/2 mile. * Turn left onto Kiwi St. Turn right down the first driveway (just after the fire hydrant). Look for the “Hawaiian Oasis†sign on the lava wall at the top of our driveway. FROM HILO, HAWAII (about 120 miles): * Take Hawaii Belt Road/Volcano HWY/HI-11N. Travel about 26 miles. * Left onto Kamehaheha Ave./Hawaii Belt Rd/HI-19. Travel about 1 mile. * Make a slight right onto Hawaii Belt Rd/Pauahi ST/HI-19W. Travel about 55 miles. * Stay straight to go onto Mamalahoa HWY/Hawaii Belt Rd/HI-190. Travel about 36 miles. This street becomes Palani Rd. and begins to go downhill toward Kona town. Travel slowly about 1/2 mile. * Turn right onto Hao Kuni St. Travel about 1/2 mile. * Turn left onto Kiwi St. Turn right down the first driveway (just after the fire hydrant). Look for the “Hawaiian Oasis†sign on the lava wall at the top of our driveway. Once You Arrive At Hawaiian Oasis Bed and Breakfast Inn-- Follow the long driveway to the bottom and swing left past the main house and park in a space next to the garage. (The innkeepers home is upstairs in the Ohana building to the right of the main house.) If we do not greet you right away, please let us know you are here by going to the Innkeepers home (located upstairs in the smaller building next to the main house).
