ABOUT
Manor House Inn Bar Harbor Maine
The Manor House Inn is located in the beautiful tree lined West Street Historic District. The inn is just a short walk to all village shopping, restaurants and ocean front activities. Manor House Inn consists of the original three story Victorian Mansion, built in 1887 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and our Bar Harbor Cottages, the Victorian Chauffeurs Cottage, two delightfully private Garden Cottages and Acadia Cottage.
Our spacious 1-1/2 acre landscaped grounds provide you with ample parking and room to relax and enjoy the gardens as you plan your next adventure.
A special feature of the Manor House is our walkable location into the Bar Harbor village, and quiet private grounds when you arrive back at the inn. Our pleasant grounds include sitting areas, gardens and a gazebo. Each morning a hearty home baked breakfast buffet is served in the Mansion.
Enjoy a table in the dining room or wander into our sunny breakfast garden. Our wicker filled front porch is the ideal place to enjoy home baked cookies and tea, served each afternoon.
Our Victorian Bed and Breakfast is known for its gracious and casual hospitality and offers guests a wide variety of amenities including fireplaces, whirlpool tubs and private porches.
Your hosts, Stacey and Ken, have grown up in Bar Harbor, so take advantage of their knowledge and let them help you plan each vacation day enjoying Acadia’s scenic beauty with a mountain hike or seaside picnic, a bike ride on the Carriage trails of Acadia, a breathtaking whale watch or kayak tour of the gorgeous rockbound Downeast Coast of Maine.
Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park is the tallest mountain along the eastern coast of the United States. During certain times of the year, it is the first place in the U.S. to see sunrise.
