Arriving From the North

Take Interstate 95 South. After passing through the last tollbooth on The Maine Turnpike (just south of Wells and Ogunquit) take first exit, “The Yorks”.  See directions “From Both Directions”…

From Both Directions

Follow the spur road from Exit 7 “The Yorks” to Route 1.  (Chamber of Commerce and Stonewall Kitchen will be directly in front of you).  Go RIGHT onto Route 1 South.  Immediately move to the left lane.  At the first stoplight go LEFT onto Route 1A (York Street) towards York Harbor for approximately 2 1/2 MILES.  (As you enter the village be sure to stay on York Street by bearing right at the statue of the soldier.) We are located just past Wild Rose Lane.  Once you see the Tanglewood Hall sign and Welcome flag on the RIGHT, be prepared to immediately turn at our gate (611 York Street).  NOTE: We are in a residential 25 MPH zone; if you are abiding by the speed limit we are difficult to miss.  If you pass Roaring Rock Road you have gone too far.

Airports to Consider

Manchester New Hampshire and Portland Maine are easy to navigate due to their smaller size and location. Boston’s Logan is busier but may provide you with the best valued flight.  Boston & Manchester are just over an hour away and Portland is just 40 minutes from here.
