The Sand Castle Inn Bed and Breakfast has a Victorian front porch with swing, white wicker furniture, and ceiling fans, as well as a lovely comfortable common room with fireplace. A lavish, homemade, gourmet breakfast and afternoon hors doeuvres are included in the price of your room. Since the late 1800s, people have been vacationing at the Sand Castle Inn, a South Haven bed and breakfast, near the shores of Lake Michigan. After its recent total restoration, the Inn has ten spacious, lavishly decorated guestrooms, most with fireplace and private decks. Only One Block from Lake Michigan and its Beaches and Only Three Blocks from Downtown South Haven.
Friendly, pampering guest service and a full gourmet breakfast are included. All of the guestrooms are individually designer decorated and have king sized beds, private baths, and ceiling fans. Most have private fireplaces and balconies .
The B&B is centrally air conditioned. We have rooms that are truly unique and are appropriate for special occasions or for that little something extra.
Gift certificates are a great way to share the Sand Castle Inn with friends, family or business associates. They can be ordered by phone at 269-639-110 or right here, on line, using our SECURE credit card site. Certificates are printed on a fine parchment paper and mailed within 24 hours of the receipt of your order. We will confirm your order by email. The Inn only accepts Gift Certificates from The (Michigan) Lake to Lake Bed and Breakfast Association, and, of course our own Gift Certificates, and these can be used for these specials Please mention specials when making your reservation.
Our intimate Inn is the perfect setting for your Michigan conference, group retreat, family reunion, or small wedding ceremony. We offer group travel accommodations for up to 30 people. Directions
Take I-196 North or South to Exit 20. Take Phoenix Road west towards downtown South Haven, MI to the second light (Broadway). Turn right onto Broadway, following it left at the curve, and over the bridge, where it becomes Dyckman Avenue. The Sand Castle Inn is on the right hand side (across the street from Stanley Johnson Park), about 1 1/2 blocks past the bridge. Parking is off of Park Avenue, behind the condos and Inn.
Inn guests please park in the yellow colored parking spaces. The white colored parking spaces are for our Condominium neighbors.
