Visit and enjoy the cozy fireplace in the Great-room and relax with a hot cup of tea or a glass of nice wine. Good food and friendly people from all over the world make my Inn their own vacation home for unforgettable memories.
A full nutritious breakfast, with attention to dietary needs, is included in the bed and breakfast price and served each morning at 8:30am sharp in the spacious country Dining Room. Dinner may be reserved 24 hours in advance by email or phone message. Family reunions up to 14 people, but accommodate birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, holidays or personal parties up to 25. Choose from a brunch, appetizer or my dinner menu and create a memorable event for you and your friends.
Lodging is not necessary for private parties. As featured in the Country Extra Magazine, quilts and antiques adorn each room at the Candlewycke Inn Bed and Breakfast to provide a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere to all travelers. Pillowtop king and queen beds ensure the best nights sleep you’ll ever experience away from home. Private baths, TV’s, and refrigerators complete each deluxe accommodation. Candlewycke Inn Lodge is a wonderful home base when enjoying Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, Jewel Basin or Big Mountain Ski Resort. Hiking, skiing, and fishing are available throughout every season.
All are just around the corner, waiting to complete your unforgettable vacation. The Candlewycke Inn is 3.5 miles from downtown Bigfork and Flathead Lake and 45 minutes from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. My house number is 311 Aero Lane. Reflective candles point the way and red/white Xmas lights line the posts on my entrance fence.
Travel Directions Call 511 for any road construction that could cause delays: Youll see that 93N seems the most direct from MISSOULA however 83N is the most scenic ~ to get to Hwy 83N, Take Interstate 90E from Missoula, exit 109 (Bonner/Great Falls) to Hwy 200E, turn left on 83N towards Seeley Lake and Swan Lake for a scenic drive FROM Seeley Lake Area: Take 83N about 2hrs. to 209W ~ turn left (Bigfork sign) drive 1.5 miles to N Ferndale (blinking lite at the Ferndale Firehall), Turn right on N. Ferndale at the Candlewycke Inn sign. Drive (1) one block. Turn right onto Aero Lane (4ft candle marks the turn). Drive about 1/2 a mile ~~ Aero lane will divide left and straight DONT TURN / STAY STRAIGHT / follow the candles to 311 Aero Ln. OTHERWISE from 93N: Drive up from Missoula to to Polson, the south end of Flathead lake ~~ turn right onto 35N, drive about 30 miles North to Jct. 209 blinking light, turn right, drive 3.3 miles to the next blinking light at N. Ferndale and Ferndale Firehall. Turn left onto N. Ferndale, drive 1 block, turn right onto Aero Lane (4ft. logo candle), drive straight down Aero Lane DONT TURN / STAY STRAIGHT....follow the candles to 311 Aero Lane. From Glacier Airport (FCA): Turn right out of the airport on Rte. 2. Drive 6.5 miles. Turn left on 35S (4 way intersection). Drive 20 miles South towards Bigfork. Go over the bridge past the 4 way lighted intersection that says "Bigfork Village". Look for blinking lights and Turn left on Jct. 209 Swan / Seeley Lake. Drive 3.3 miles to N. Ferndale and Turn left at the blinking light.......Follow the directions above. From Kalispell or Whitefish: Take 93S to 82E (Bigfork sign) turn left. Go to the end of 82, about 6 miles. Turn right on 35S. Drive about 4 miles, turn left on Jct. 209E and follow the directions above. From Glacier National Park: Exit the park on Rte 2, drive 15 miles to the Intersection 206E, turn left at the light. Drive 10 miles to the end, turn left on Hwy 35S. Drive south on 35 (14 miles) PAST the left turn for downtown Bigfork Village going over the bridge with the lake on your right and the bay on your left. At the blinking light, Jct 209, Turn left and drive 3.3 miles to the next blinking light, N. Ferndale and Ferndale Fire Hall.
Turn left at the blinking light where youll see my sign. Drive 1 block to Aero Lane (4ft. red logo Candle) turn right onto Aero lane, drive straight down Aero lane, no turns to the Candlewycke Inn.
