Historic Kuebler Waldrip Haus B&B, New Braunfels Texas
TEXAS HILL COUNTRY wide open spaces, winding roads, wineries and Texas history are waiting for you to come and explore. Historic Kuebler Waldrip Haus Bed and Breakfast is located on 43 scenic acres and is a family owned and operated bed and breakfast is 3-6 minutes from Gruene and downtown New Braunfels. Three buildings make up the property and they include 2 beautifully restored historic buildings and a separate one-story cottage. The historic buildings include the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building, an original German rock and limestone homestead from 1847 and the Danville Schoolhouse, an original one-room schoolhouse from 1863 that was purchased and moved to our property in 1990. The Deer Haven Cottage is the wonderful large cottage with its own unique country style with all of the comforts of home-away-from-home.

This wonderful New Braunfels Tx lodging is where you can enjoy stunning sunrises and sunsets while relaxing in a quiet country style setting with acres, a fishing pond, walking areas, birds and wildlife and open sky perfect for star gazing.
ROOMS: Building 1 is The Deer Haven Cottage is our pet friendly room, and it is a large unit that can sleep 2-5 people (with shower/Jacuzzi bath). Building 2 is The Kuebler Waldrip Haus and it has 5 separate bedrooms each with a private bath (2 marble Jacuzzi baths). The 5 separate rooms in this building include Kuebler's Kastle, Hillside Hideaway (Jacuzzi bath), Guilbeau Room, Katherine's Attic (Jacuzzi bath) and Room with A View. Building 3 is The Danville Schoolhouse and it also has 5 separate bedrooms each with a private bath (1 marble Jacuzzi bath). The 5 separate rooms in this building include East Room, West Room, the Danville School Room Suite (2 rooms/2baths - 1 Jacuzzi bath), and the Porch Room. Rooms in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building and the Danville Schoolhouse building are NOT pet friendly rooms. Thank you.
BREAKFAST: Our delicious hearty country candlelight breakfast is included in our room rates and may consist of juice, fresh fruit, meat, homemade breads (muffins, corn bread, rolls or cinnamon rolls), egg dishes (scrambled, cream cheese eggs, or Brunch Eggs & Green Chilies), hash brown potatoes flavored with salt and black pepper, Southern grits, and/or pancakes topped with fresh fruit, butter, syrup, nuts & whipped cream!
PET FRIENDLY ROOM is our Deer Haven Cottage. We allow up to 2 pets (25 lbs. max.) and a $20 per pet per night will be added. Pet reservations must be pre-arranged. The Deer Haven Cottage has approx. 950 sq. ft, tile floors, 3 bedrooms (2 queens and 1 twin), a living room attached to a bedroom, a full kitchen with small dining room area, and a full bath with a shower/marble Jacuzzi tub. A covered porch with furniture and BBQ pit are to the rear of the building. Nightly room rate for 2 guests with breakfast is $265.00 plus pet charges + tax. A pet fee of $20.00 per pet per night will be added to all nightly rentals. Call to reserve and for questions.
WHEELCHAIR AND HANDICAPPED ACCESS are in our Kuebler's Kastle and our Danville School Room Suite. These rooms are especially designed to help with easy access with marble countertops, showers and bath. The Kuebler's Kastle is close to breakfast and our common area. The Danville School Suite also has easy access from the porch and a certified accessible bath with a fold-down seat in the shower bath.
NEW BRAUNFELS TEXAS ATTACTIONS: Come spend the night in New Braunfels Texas where you'll find live entertainment, antique and specialty shopping, museums and historic sites, the Tanger Outlet in San Marcos Texas (just 12-15 minutes), great restaurants, scenic driving in the Texas Hill Country or visit a Texas winery. Day trips include Canyon Lake, San Marcos, Wimberley, Luckenbach or Fredericksburg.
TEXAS BED AND BREAKFAST guests are welcome to rent a room, a whole building or the whole property. Perfect for a weekend or weekday rental, family vacations, retreats, family reunions, church or business meetings, weddings, and anniversaries.
NIGHTLY RENTALS FOR 2 IN A ROOM start at $155.00 to $370.00 plus tax. ADDITIONAL GUESTS OVER 2 IN A ROOM: add $30.00 per additional adult (ages 21 and older) and add $20.00 per child (ages 3-20). ALL nightly room rates include our wonderful large hot candlelight breakfast brunch that is served in our dining room from 9:30 am to 11 am.
