Stone Creek Lodge and Cabins at Mt. Rainier

Located just 200 yards outside of the Nisqually (Paradise) entrance to Mount Rainier National Park, Stone Creek Lodge offers cozy, warm, cedar mountain lodging cabins with hot-tubs, gas-log fireplaces, and kitchenettes. Easy access to hiking, climbing, cross-country skiing, car-touring, spectacular scenery, wildlife, waterfalls, flowers, and big trees!

Our cozy and warm Garden Cabins sleep a maximum of four guests...best for a small family. They are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with a snuggly queen-sized bed and two single-sized beds in the form of a day-bed and a trundle. All cabins are supplied with fresh, comfortable bedding and large, fluffy towels. Kitchenettes are quipped with a small refrigerator and microwave-oven cooking. A coffee-maker with coffee and tea are provided. Utensils and dishes are supplied for cooking and eating modest meals.

Directions From Seattle: If you are traveling south on Interstate-5 from the Seattle area or SeaTac International Airport, continue through Tacoma and exit onto State Route 512 toward Puyallup. After 2 miles, exit onto State Route 7 and continue south for 35 miles to Elbe. The road will be slow and crooked, but scenic. From Portland: If you are traveling north on Interstate-5 from the Portland area, exit east onto U.S. Route 12 to Morton. After approximately 30 miles, at Morton, exit north onto State Route 7 to Elbe. On U.S. Route 12 you will pass by some of the colorful bulb farms of western Washington. From eastern Washington: If you are traveling west on U.S. Route 12 from eastern Washington, (a) In summer, turn right onto Skate Creek Road (Hwy 52) at the eastern outskirts of Packwood, and for approximately 25 miles, then turn right on State Route 706. Skate Creek Road is closed in October until early to mid-May. You may want to check in Packwood if there is a question. Stone Creek Lodge, on the right side of SR 706, is three miles east on State Route 706 and 200 yards outside of the entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. (b) In winter, pass through Packwood and continue on U.S. Route 12 to Morton, then north onto State Route 7 to Elbe. From Elbe: When you reach Elbe, drive east on State Route 706 for 14 miles, pass through the small community of Ashford, and then drive 5.5 miles toward Mt. Rainier National Park. Stone Creek Lodge is on the right side of State Route 706 and 200 yards outside of the entrance to the park. 2 hours from SeaTac International Airport 2.5 hours from Portland, Oregon 1 hour from Tacoma, Washington 2.5 hours from Seattle, Washington.  Click web site below for details, photos and reservations.
